Biography

A master of the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute, G.S. Sachdev has remained tied to the musical traditions of northern India. A friend of Swami Vishnu-Devanada, the founder of International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centers, Sachdev mostly performs in the spiritual organizations' ashrams and centers. G. S. Sachdev (born Gurbachan Singh Sachdev) is an Indian performer of the bansuri (bamboo flute). He performs Hindustani classical music.

Among his students are Oscar van Dillen and Jin Hi Kim.
