The G12 postcode is one of the most sought-after in Glasgow, due to its location, excellent transport links, and quality of housing and nearby shops. It covers a large part of the west of the city, including much of the West End, drawing comparisons to EH4 of neighbouring Edinburgh.
It covers areas such as Cleveden, Dowanhill, Hillhead, Hyndland and Kelvindale, and includes the Botanic Gardens, the former Broadcasting House and the University.
