Gaash

Bible Guide: Gaash

1. The place of burial of Joshua was at Timnath Serah (Timnath Heres, in Judg 2:9) north of the mountains of Gaash. Thus Mount Gaash is to be sought in the western region of Ephraim in the vicinity of this city.

2. The place of origin of Hiddai (according to I Chr 11:32 Hurai) who was one of David's thirty "mighty men". Perhaps a site on Mount Gaash in Ephraim.

Concordance
GAASH 1: Josh 24:30. Judg 2:9
GAASH 2: II Sam 23:30. I Chr 11:32
