1698An Historical and Geographical Account of Pennsylvania and of West-New-Jersey. Written to promote the settlement of Pennsylvania, this book describes in a favorable light the area and the opportunities it presents. Thomas was a member of the first group of William Penn's Quaker colonists, and his promotional tract is generally regarded as the best of those written about the Pennsylvania colony.
