Gadshill

Gadshill (gădz'hĭl), low hill, Kent, SE England, near Rochester. In Shakespeare's Henry IV it was the scene of Falstaff's robberies. Charles Dickens lived there, at Gadshill Place, from 1856 until his death in 1870.
