Gail Katz is a film, television, and theatrical producer. Katz currently heads Gail Katz Productions. Katz then worked at New World Pictures, where she became Vice President of Finance, then Vice President of Production. After leaving New World, Katz started producing films, starting with Shattered. She partnered with director Wolfgang Petersen throughout the 1990's and early 2000's, the two directed/produced over five films. She has served as CEO of Radiant Productions, and as a founder of Red Cliff Productions. She is currently an executive producer on the ABC drama/comedy Cashmere Mafia, which Gail Katz Productions produces. She has a B.A. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a M.B.A from the Yale School of Management. Katz was born Los Angeles and raised in Beverly Hills, California. She is married to lawyer Bruce Wessel, they have two children.
