Gan-chan (聖?) (also known as Mitsuo Iwata, his 'full name which is itself taken from Gan's seiyuu, Mitsuo Iwata) is a character in the anime/manga Adventures of Mini-Goddess.
Gan-chan is the much-abused temple rat from the Adventures of Mini-Goddess series. Generally nice and friendly, Gan is somewhat emotional and very excitable, but highly prone to gluttony. Due to his nice and trusting nature, he's often led off on some wild adventure by Skuld and Urd, with the end result of Gan getting physically abused (eg. being used in suicide missions) in some way. Gan prefers the company of Belldandy, since she's much quieter (and more sane) than her sisters.
