Gaston Alfred Green III AKA Gaston Muhammad[1] (born August 1, 1966 in Los Angeles, California) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1st round (14th overall) of the 1988 NFL Draft. A 5'10", 189-lb. running back from UCLA, Green played in 5 NFL seasons from 1988 to 1992 for the Rams and Denver Broncos. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1991 as a Bronco, rushing for 1,037 yards.
Gaston Muhammad, and Ronna Green, 41, of Duluth, Ga., mailed solicitations to small-business owners in 2007 and 2008, implying that the owners could lose their corporate status if they didn't pay $150 for corporate-minutes services. According to court documents, the judge ordered the defendants to pay $200,000 restitution, which will be distributed to the business owners, and $986,000 in civil penalties.[2]
Similar claims against Gaston and his wife have been made in Florida[3] and Arizona.[4]
