General Technology Corporation provides contract manufacturing of printed circuit boards, cables and wire harnesses, wired chassis, and mechanical enclosures. The company also offers engineering, outsourcing, recruiting, and testing services. As a subsidiary of Crane Co, General Technology is now part of the Crane Aerospace & Electronics segment. Crane formed its aerospace and electronics unit by combining eight companies. General Technology and four other companies -- including Interpoint and STC Microwave Systems -- make up the electronics division. General Technology was formed in 1999; Crane Co. acquired it in 2002.
