Review

Music Video Distributors makes available several Nick Zedd movies on this VHS collection. Generation Z: The Movies of Nick Zedd contains the underground icon's films Tom Thumb, Ecstasy in Entropy, Why Do You Exist, Whoregasm, Police State, Thrust in Me, Go to Hell, and Kiss Me Goodbye. Seen together these become a blurred collage of gritty sex scenes and twisted imagery. Baring their "souls" for Zedd's camera are several "subterranean stars," including Kembra Pfahler (The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black), Annie Sprinkle, Brenda Bergman (Women Behind Bars, Neon Woman), and more. Police State is Zedd's classic tale of being hassled by the cops, New York-style. ~ Tom Schulte, All Music Guide
