Music Encyclopedia: Geoffrey (Penwill) Parsons

(b Sydney, 15 June 1929). Australian accompanist. He studied in Sydney and Munich. In 1950 he went to London as accompanist to Peter Dawson and remained there, appearing with Schwarzkopf and others; he is admired as a player of subtlety and taste.
