Georgios Hatzianestis (Greek: Γεώργιος Χατζηανέστης, Turkish: Yorgo Hacıanesti) (1863 - 15 November 1922) was a Greek General. He was born in Athens. From May 1922 to the end of the war that September, he was Commander-in-Chief of Greek armies during the Greco-Turkish War (known in Turkey as the Turkish War of Independence).

Following the Trial of the Six, Hatzianestis was executed for high treason along with five politicians in 1922 as responsible for the defeat of Greece in that war.
