Gerd Andersson

Andersson, Gerd (b Stockholm, 1932). Swedish dancer. She studied at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and joined the company in 1948, becoming ballerina in 1958. She created roles in several ballets, such as Tudor's Echoing of Trumpets, and guested with several companies, including National Ballet of Canada and London Festival Ballet. She retired in 1976.
