Gerontophilia refers to the sexual preference for the elderly.[1] The word is originated from Greek: Geron, which means "old man" and philie, which means "love".
Specialized terms are alphamegamia for the attraction to an older man and anililagnia for the attraction to an older woman.[citation needed]
