Gestair (Executive Jet) is an airline based in Madrid, Spain. It is a corporate aviation company operating a wide range of services including air taxi, scheduled commuter flights, aircraft maintenance and handling and ad hoc charters. Its main base is Madrid-Torrejón Airport.[1]

History
The airline was established and started operations in 1977. It is wholly owned by Jesus Macarron Gomez (Gestair Interholding and Macholfam) and has 232 employees (at March 2007)[1].
Group Divisions
The company is structured under the following divisions:
-Private Aviation
Gestair FBO: offers ground services to passengers, crews and aircraft.
Gestair Maintenance: aircraft maintenance.
Aircraft Management & Consulting: consultancy on aircraft sale and purchase.
-Commercial Aviation
Gestair Airlines: offers the management of fleets and crews under a Wet Lease contract.
Gestair Cargo: destined to integrated air cargo of medium and large tonnage, guaranteeing an optimal response
-Flying Academy
Training of future Airline Transport pilots (ATPL license). Authorized TRTO centre to license for Boeing B757/767, Airbus A340, Airbus A320 and CCQ from A320 to A340 type, it offers continuous training to professionals in airlines and maintenance experts.
New Vision for the company
The company undertook a corporate vision project in 2006 to reposition itself in the competitive European private aviation sector. Corporate Vision Strategists, the international vision consultancy based in London, developed the project with Gestair's management to better position its various group brands and divisions in the marketplace. Part of this project included the development of the new brand and aircraft fleet livery redesign.
