By Taxi: You can’t hail a taxi on the street, but you can order one by phone (Central Taxi Riviera, ☎ 4 93 13 78 78, 24-hour switchboard) or pick one up at an authorized taxi stand. The main taxi stands are at Esplanade Masséna, Promenade des Angais, Place Garibaldi, Hôtel des Postes, SNCF Railway Station, and Acropolis. Taxi rates go up between 7 pm and 7am.

By Bus: Bus routes, operated by SUNBUS, will take you all over the city and up into the surrounding hills. A single fare is €1.30, paid on the bus, but you can buy a one-, five- or seven-day Sun Pass for unlimited travel on all regular lines. The Noctambus Service operates four night bus lines from Place Masséna, between 9:10 pm and 1:10 am. A bus map and guide is available from the tourist office. To buy a Sun Pass, contact SUNBUS, Sun Boutique Grand Hotel, 10 Avenue Félix Faure, ☎ 33 04 93 13 53 13, fax 33 04 93 13 53 14, Monday to Friday 7:15 am to 7 pm, Saturday 8 am to 6pm.
