Gevgelija (Macedonian: Општина Гевгелија or Opština Gevgelija) is a municipality in southern Republic of Macedonia. Gevgelija is also the name of the town where the municipal seat is found. Gevgelija municipality is part of Southeastern statistical region.

Geography
The municipality borders Kavadarci municipality in the west, Demir Kapija municipality in the north-west, Valandovo municipality in the north-east, Bogdanci municipality in the east, and Greece in the south.
Demographics
According to the last National census from 2002 this municipality has 22,988 inhabitants. [1]
Ethnic groups in the municipality include:

- Serbs = 367
- Vlachs = 214
- others.
