Ghanool is a village and union council (an administrative subdivison) of Mansehra District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan [1]. It is located in Balakot tehsil and lies in an area that was affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake[2].
The village Ghanool was electrified by the efforts and commandmandts of current Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gillani in the 1990s when he was a minister.
