Career
Michaels's first job was at a hamburger restaurant in Seattle called Dick's Drive-In. [4] In 2001, she moved to California and started working as a receptionist.[citation needed] Over time, people approached her about modeling, and she eventually tried it, figuring that if she didn't like it, she could stop.[4] Her modeling eventually led to nude photo shoots and then porn.[4] She has also filmed porn under the aliases Becky and Gianna Rossi.
As of December 2009, Michaels's filmography includes more than 344 DVD credits[2].
The pornogrind band Rotten Crotch pay homage to her in their song "Cumming on Gianna Michaels".[5] Gianna performed in her first anal scene in Elegant Angel's Big Wet Asses 15, released on June 30, 2009.
