Giant Cement Holding thinks big. A subsidiary of Spain's Cementos Portland Valderrivas, the holding company produces Portland and masonry cements through Giant Cement Company in South Carolina, Keystone Cement in Pennsylvania, and Dragon Cement in Maine. Its products, which are sold throughout the eastern US, are used in the construction of buildings, bridges, and highways. Giant Cement Holdings' Giant Resource Recovery unit processes industrial waste for use as fuel for the company's cement kilns. Coastal Cement, an affiliate of Dragon Cement, maintains two deep-water shipping terminals in New England.
