Gidget Goes Hawaiian is a 1961 "beach movie", the second of three Gidget films directed by Paul Wendkos. The screenplay was written by Ruth Brooks Flippen based on characters created by Frederick Kohner. Deborah Walley played the title character; other cast members included James Darren, Michael Callan, Jean "Jeff" Donnell, and Carl Reiner.

Gidget Goes Hawaiian is a sequel to the 1959 film Gidget, which starred Sandra Dee. Reprising their roles from the first movie are James Darren, as Gidget's boyfriend "Moondoggie", and Jean "Jeff" Donnell as Gidget's mother, "Dorothy Lawrence". In addition, Joby Baker, who played "Stinky" in the original film, returned in Gidget Goes Hawaiian as the character "Judge Hamilton".

It was shot on location at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, with some scenes from the first film re-shot using the new cast as flashbacks.

The movie is available in both VHS and DVD formats.
