Plot

While playing gold with the Skipper (Alan Hale Jr.), Gilligan (Bob Denver) is struck by lightning. Though uninjured by the bolt from above, Gilligan finds that he has been magnetized, and before long he's attracting every piece of metal on the island, as well as administering electric shocks to everyone he touches.
