The Ginninderra electorate is one of the three electorates for the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly. It has five seats, and is the smallest of the electorates, containing the area of the town centre of Belconnen, suburbs such as, Dunlop, Hawker, Page and Scullin, the suburb of Nicholls was transferred from Molonglo after the 1998 election. The Ginninderra electorate also includes the village of Hall. Its south-western boundary is the Molonglo River and a small part of the Murrumbidgee River. It is named after the Ginninderra Plain and the formal agricultural lands now occupied by the district of Belconnen and Gungahlin.
