The County of Gjirokastër (Albanian: Qarku i Gjirokastrës, Greek: Αργυρόκαστρο, Turkish: Ergir Vilayeti or Ergir) is one of the 12 counties of Albania. It consists of the districts Gjirokastër, Përmet, and Tepelenë and its capital is Gjirokastër. Its population includes a substantial Greek minority [1][2]. To the southeast, Gjirokastër shares a border with Greece. Domestically, it borders the following counties:
