Glurns (Italian: Glorenza; German: Glurns) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 80 km northwest of Trento and about 60 km northwest of Bolzano (Bozen).
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 882 and an area of 13.0 km².[1] According to the 2001 census, 96.51% of the population speak German, 3.37% Italian and 0.12% Ladin as first language.[2]
Glurns borders the following municipalities: Mals, Prad am Stilfser Joch, Schluderns and Taufers im Münstertal.
