Going Back to Texas

Album Review: Going Back to Texas

Review

Bob Kirkpatrick's comeback album Going Back to Texas is a charming record. Kirkpatrick has a classy, jazzy guitar style and he leads his band through a set of originals and covers, putting an attractive, swinging spin on the music. Even if a couple tracks fall flat, Going Back to Texas is an engaging album of swinging Texas blues. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
