Good Health HMO, a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, is a for-profit health maintenance organization (HMO). Good Health HMO operates under the Blue-Care brand and provides health care coverage to nearly 60,000 members in the Greater Kansas City area, including residents in several counties on both sides of the Missouri/Kansas border. Established in 1988, the company contracts with some 30 hospitals and more than 3,000 physicians.
