Plot

The Japanese videomagazine JDM Option produced and issues the home video release, D1 Grand Prix Round Four Autopolis: Japan - volume eighteen in its series. This issue packs in three segments. In the main feature, set on Kyushu - Japan's third largest island - citizens and residents show up to provide solid encouragement and emotional support for their indigenous competitor in the race,Nomuken, who drives a white Skyline; he goes on to win a fourth place victory vis-à-vis the other competitors. In the second, "D1 Girls - D1 Machine Challenge," the male mechanics show two of the girls - Kazumi and Hatsuno -- how to perform a wrench job on a vehicle. The final (bonus) segment travels to England's infamous "Silverstone Circuit," where much contemporary motoring originated, for the pre-events that belie the first ever D1 Grand Prix. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
