Grane (Wagner: Die Walküre; Götterdämmerung). Brünnhilde's horse, on which she carries the pregnant Sieglinde to the Valkyries' rock. In the final act of Der Ring (the Immolation), Brünnhilde rides Grane into the fire of Siegfried's funeral pyre.
