Grant Lauchlan is a Scottish entertainment journalist and film critic, currently working for STV's The Hour and STV News in Central Scotland as an entertainment correspondent.
He studied journalism and film & media at Stirling University. After graduating he work as a news reporter for Radio Clyde.
In 1998, he started working as an assistant producer for STV's digital channel S2. In 2000 Grant began working for Scotland Today as its film critic. After S2 closed down, he began working full-time in the newsroom as a journalist and occasional presenter of Scotland Today bulletins, taking time out over the years to produce and co-present Moviejuice with Sarah Heaney for the station. Interviews have included Meryl Streep, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, Julie Andrews, Uma Thurman, Sigourney Weaver and George Clooney.
He also writes film reviews for the Daily Record newspaper.
