Review

The Charts are remembered -- if at all -- by their one hit, the doo-wop classic "Deserie," which charted nationally twice, some 30 years apart. The group only made five singles, and all ten sides are here on this budget collection. The subsequent follow-ups that didn't click like "Deserie" still show a group that was equally adept at both ballads and uptempo material, like "Zoop," "Dance Girl," and "All Because of Love." Vocal-group fans, here's a one-stop shopping package that fires on all cylinders. ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
