Building it up or tearing it down, Ground Construction Ltd. (GCL) isn't afraid to get a little dirty on the job. GCL subcontracts with UK property developers to ready land sites and construct building foundations. The firm handles site preparation from demolition, excavation, and groundworks to drainage and concrete frames, primarily in London and the home counties. It has completed more than 200 industrial, office, academic, and residential projects. Founded in 1997, the company has been in on the ground floor (so to speak) of such projects as Gainsborough Studios, London; Lambeth College, London; and Broadway House, Wimbledon.
