Gunpo is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. Its largest immediate urban neighbor is Suwon. Hansei University is located in the city.
Seoul Subway Line 1, which connects Seoul with Cheonan, passes through the town, as does Line 4, which intersects with Line 1 at Geumjeong Station. In addition, the city is home to Gunpo Station, which stands on the Gyeongbu Line which runs between Seoul and Busan.
