Game Description

One of few console games from this era that does not employ the use of the joystick portion of the controller, Gust Buster has players floating around a park via red, yellow, blue, and green balloons. The keypad selects the balloons while the side fire buttons release air from and pump air into the balloons.

Players must be careful not to over inflate the balloon or it will burst, forcing them to land and replace the balloon with one in their pocket. Windsocks indicate the force and direction of the wind gusts that blow around the park. Beginning in level five, winds can shift directions.

Throughout the park are rides, fireworks, animals, and other hazards. These will come into play while attempting to land in crowded areas to sell your balloons for points. To restock their balloon supply, players must land in a popcorn truck. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
