Biography

For many years Guy Pratt has held high ranks within the realm of session bassists. Formative years saw him playing with Killing Joke before moving to Icehouse and Pink Floyd. Moving to L.A., he jammed with musicians that would make up Sheryl Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club and eventually connected with Madonna and Michael Jackson. Around the same time Pratt veered his attentions toward acting; he performed on Randell and Hopkirk (Deceased). From there, he continued his session duties with cameos on albums by Tom Jones, the Orb, and Natalie Imbruglia, just to name a few. ~ Kelvin Hayes, All Music Guide
