Hämeenkoski (Koski Hl until 1995, see Koski Tl) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Päijänne Tavastia region. The municipality has a population of 2,123 (31 March 2009)[2] and covers an area of 195.64 square kilometres (75.54 sq mi) of which 7.83 km2 (3.02 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 11.3 inhabitants per square kilometre (29 /sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
