Hahn Rowe

Hahn Rowe is a New York City violinist, guitarist, composer, and producer. His numerous and wide-ranging projects attest to his skills. Originally a violinist with NYC dream-poppers Hugo Largo, Rowe became a valuable session player in the New York scene.

As a musician, he has played on Glenn Branca's Symphony No. 5 and songs by J. G. Thirlwell (as Foetus, Steroid Maximus and Wiseblood), Swans, and Moby. Behind the boards, he engineered recordings for Branca, Thirlwell, David Byrne, and REM.

Rowe is an accomplished electronica artist, writing drum'n'bass as Somatic and DJing in numerous New York City nightclubs. He also composes electronic music for other media, including film and dance recitals, the latter via long-standing collaborations with choreographer Meg Stuart.

Rowe is also a film music composer who is responsible for, among other work, the original music for Lodge Kerrigan's Clean, Shaven.
