American film producer and former child actor, Hal E. "Hally" Chester (born March 6, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York) is best remembered for his appearances as one of Universal Studios's Little Tough Guys series members during the 1940s. As a producer in the 1950s, he filmed The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms independently in the USA, and Night of the Demon, which he also co-wrote, in the United Kingdom.
