Captain Hanadi Zakaria al-Hindi became the first Saudi woman to become a commercial airline pilot in 2003. She was born in Mecca, and passed her final exams at the Mideast Aviation Academy in Amman, Jordan in June 2005. She is a chief captain for Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal’s private jet, the Kingdom.
