Hankow Road is a road between Salisbury Road and Haiphong Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was initially named as Garden Road. To avoid confusion with Garden Road on the Hong Kong Island, it was renamed to Hankow, a city in China. Before 1904, the area south of Austin Road was strictly for westerner residents as a garden city. This is probably where its former name came from.
