For more than a century, Hansen has kept motors ticking. The company manufactures a broad array of precision electric motors, from synchronous motors, to DC motors, stepper motors, damper actuators, and AC clock movements. The lineup is sold worldwide, one at a time or in volume, as well as by custom built design, directly by Hansen's sales force. Customers are predominantly in the automotive industry, followed by HVAC system, instrumentation, office, and medical equipment industries. Hansen operates as a subsidiary of Tokyo-based machinery and components maker Minebea.
