Plot

Rich orphan Doris Wingate (Enid Bennett) is referred to as the "most snobbish girl in America" in a Sunday feature story. The problem is that Doris isn't snobbish at all -- it's her uppity aunt who caused all the trouble. In an attempt to fix things, Doris's uncle sends her to a co-ed college where he hopes she will fit in. But the other students, having seen the paper, go out of their way to snub the so-called "snob." Poor Doris is more miserable than ever until she meets Bob Hollister (Charles Gunn), who is taking in washing to pay his way through college.
