Happiness

Plot

Rich orphan Doris Wingate (Enid Bennett) is referred to as the "most snobbish girl in America" in a Sunday feature story. The problem is that Doris isn't snobbish at all -- it's her uppity aunt who caused all the trouble. In an attempt to fix things, Doris's uncle sends her to a co-ed college where he hopes she will fit in. But the other students, having seen the paper, go out of their way to snub the so-called "snob." Poor Doris is more miserable than ever until she meets Bob Hollister (Charles Gunn), who is taking in washing to pay his way through college. The rich girl falls for the poor boy, and in spite of her aunt's protests, Doris wins her man. ~ Janiss Garza, All Movie Guide
