Hara

According to I Chronicles 5:26, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria deported the tribes of Reuben, Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh to Halach, Habor and Hara, and to the River Gozan. In II Kings 17:6 "the cities of the Medes" replaces Hara. In the Septuagint in II Kings 17:6 "the mountains of the Medes" appears instead of Hara. The text in I Chronicles 5:26 thus seems to be corrupt. In any case, no place by the name of Hara is known.
