Biography

Although his past remained purposely shrouded in mystery, Harlan T. Bobo's lovelorn lyrics and quirky Americana songcraft made him an enduring favorite in Memphis, TN. The songwriter first tackled heartbreak, loss, and other melancholic themes on Too Much Love, released in 2005 by the Memphis-based Goner Records. He followed that well-received debut with 2007's I'm Your Man, a post-breakup album that took its cues from the likes of Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, and Wilco. ~ Andrew Leahey, All Music Guide
