The Harvard Crimson are the athletic teams of the Harvard University. The school sponsors 41 varsity sports, more than any other school. The school has won one NCAA national championships in men's ice hockey, one in women's lacrosse, and three in men's golf.

Football

The football team has competed since 1873. They have won ten national championships when the school competed in what is now known as the FBS [1]. They are perhaps best known for their rivalry with Yale, known as "The Game". Sixteen former players have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. The school won the 1920 Rose Bowl.
