Biography

Blues singer Hattie Hart recorded with the Memphis Jug Band in the 1920s. During this time, she was also known for the parties she threw. Hart went on to record contemporary blues after moving to Chicago in the mid '30s, then disappeared from the public eye. ~ Joslyn Layne, All Music Guide
