Catholic AnswerThat really depends on which health care reform you are talking about. Normally the bishops are all for health care reform. However, for instance, the health care reform called for by the Obama administration in 2011-2012 was one of the best things that ever happened to the Catholic Church in the United States. It is so awful, so foul, so contrary to all Catholic teachings on life, respect for God, respect for people's consciences, etc. that for the first time in a very long time, the President of the United States has managed to unite nearly everyone in the Catholic Church, something four popes in a row were unable to accomplish.
