Health Enhancement Products Inc was incorporated under the laws of the State of Nevada on March 28, 1983, under the name of ‘L. Peck Enterprises, Inc.' On May 27, 1999 its name was changed to ‘Western Glory Hole, Inc'. On October 30, 2003, the company and Health Enhancement Corporation (HEC) entered into an Agreement and Plan of Reorganization under which the company acquired HEC. In connection with this transaction, the company changed its name to Health Enhancement Products, Inc. (HEPI). The company currently operates through its wholly-owned Subsidiaries, HEC and HEPI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Health Enhancement Products, Inc. and Subsidiaries produces and markets health products. Currently, the Company's sole product is ProAlgaZyme (PAZ). Its wholly owned subsidiary, HEPI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. intends to develop potential pharmaceuticals applications of PAZ. The company was founded on, and remains committed to, the aim of producing only products derived from natural ingredients. At present, its sole product is the enzyme-based, all natural dietary supplement known as ProAlgaZyme(r). ProAlgaZyme(r) is a naturally-generated liquid product derived from a natural plant culture grown in purified water with proprietary feeding. The Company's sales currently are through the internet and by word of mouth. The company has its product in a few local health food stores. However, its limited resources prevent it from pursuing a more aggressing sales program. The company is currently in the process of pursuing additional external clinical trials that should provide it with further evidence of the potential of its product, and thus facilitate its sales and marketing related activities. In addition, the company has contracted with a marketing consultant to expand its exposure in the alternative health markets. The company owns the microbial mixture, including algae, from which ProAlgaZyme(r) is derived, and these source materials are held in growing environments at its facility. The company manufactures its ProAlgaZyme(r) product directly, using dedicated laboratory facilities on its own premises and qualified technical staff. After production, ProAlgaZyme(r) is bottled in its facility under its supervision to ensure product safety and integrity. The dietary supplement industry is competitive, particularly in the area of undifferentiated products such as general-purpose multi-vitamins. PROALGAZYME and AQUELLA are the trademarks of the company. The products that the company manufacture and market are subject to regulation by the Food and Drug Administration.
