Hegang (simplified Chinese: 鹤岗 traditional Chinese: 鶴崗; pinyin: Hègǎng; also known as Haoli) is a prefecture-level city in Heilongjiang province of the People's Republic of China. Hegang is a city within a coal mining area and has a population 654,000 (third in Heilongjiang).
Hegang Municipality comprises 8 administrative sub-divisions, county-level units governed directly by the municipality (second-level divisions). Of these, 6 are districts and 2 are counties. The urban and suburban areas of the city are divided into six districts.
