Heinrich Hübsch
Heinrich Hübsch (1795-1863) was a German architect. After studies in Heidelberg he traveled extensively in Greece and Italy (1817-24). In 1827 he was appointed Oberbaurath (inspector of buildings) at Carlsruhe. He designed the Basilica at Munich, but is chiefly known for his great work on basilican architecture, Die altchristlichen Kirchen, published also in French as Monuments de Parchitecture chrétienne (Carlsruhe, 1865?).
